West Ada is a huge school district. It encompasses all of Meridian, Eagle, Star and a little bit of Boise. There are many public, charter, magnet, and private school choices, as well as a thriving homeschool community. Many people prefer West Ada schools over Boise schools because West Ada schools usually have higher “Great School” ratings as most Boise schools have overall more income level diversity, but there is so much growth in the West Ada school district, there are many growing pains.
