South Meridian, south of highway 84, has a more country, open space feel, with views of mountains and farmland. North Meridian borders Eagle and is closer to the Boise River and foothills. There are many new subdivisions being built here, mostly in the farthest Northwest areas. This is a great area for people who want to be closer to the recreation or Eagle, but still have quick access to all the shopping amenities. Costco is in North Meridian.

The middle of Meridian, Idaho, between the highway and Eagle, is truly the center of the Treasure Valley. Even if you live in Boise, Eagle, or Nampa, you’ll be headed towards the center of Meridian for all kinds of shopping. Meridian has the outdoor mall, The Village, and all kinds of family fun, like huge parks, Roaring Springs Water Park, and Top Golf. Living in this area means subdivisions bordered by four lane roads, and it is the epitome of convenience.
